Rotorua Airport have their finger on the pulse with the announcement today that they have an allocated area for mountain bikers coming in from Australia to assemble their wheels.

This really cool idea was implemented after staff observed keen MTB riders grappling with putting their machines together so as they could hit the trails as quickly as possible.

And just to add a little star power, they got none other than NZ cycling golden girl Sarah Ulmer to cut the ribbon
